Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, will hold its spring commencement beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, in the Louis J. Tullio Arena, located at Eighth and French streets in downtown Erie. This year, the college will be honoring its oldest graduates along with its newest. (more)
Through the end of the fall 2008 semester, Penn State has conferred a total of 631,150 degrees. As of May 18 the University's total number of graduates should approach 643,000. This spring Penn State expects to award approximately 10,875 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing 588 associate, 8,627 baccalaureate, 1,083 master's, 131 medical, 212 law and 234 doctoral degrees.
