UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.--Students enrolled in the iMBA program at Penn State's World Campus scored in the top 5 percent on the most recent Educational Testing Service (ETS) Master of Business Administration (MBA) Major Field Test, a comprehensive national assessment for program evaluation.
The fall 2009 cohort of 50 students in this online program collectively scored in the 95th percentile in 2011, placing the Penn State iMBA program in the highest possible category, of 225 institutions administering this test to more than 4,700 students nationwide. (more)

When Juan Cook Sr.'s account executive job at a printing company went to Mexico, he turned to Penn State to prepare for a new career as a certified drug and alcohol counselor. When he graduates in December, he will start a new job in the rapidly growing health care field. Cook is among nearly 283,000 workers whose jobs have been impacted by trade and globalization, according to the U.S. Labor Department. The number of students enrolled in Penn State's World Campus grew 21 percent since fall 2010, from 8,524 to 10,314, according to newly released Penn State enrollment data. This is the second consecutive year of 20 percent growth for students enrolled online, following a 20 percent increase in 2009. (more)

When Nicole Jankowski was in high school, she was a typical teenager; a good student, carefree, loved playing sports and spending time with her friends. Her world changed during her senior year when she gave birth to a son, but her dream of attending college still remained a top priority.
