The University Libraries are offering classes in library research basics for students, employees and the public this semester. The classes are free and no registration is required. Participants will learn how to find books and other materials in The CAT, the online catalog and to use databases such as ProQuest to find articles online. (more)

The Libraries are offering a number of training sessions in fall for users of Refworks and Endnote. To register, go to: http://its.psu.edu/training. Refworks is a web-based citation management tool. Use Refworks to collect citations and documents, cite sources in Microsoft Word, and share citations and documents. The following Refworks sessions will be held in 211A Pattee Library, west. (more)

The University Libraries are offering one-hour seminars on library research basics. The classes are free to the public. Learn how to search for materials in The CAT, the online catalog, find journal articles online and much more. Classes will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9; 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 and 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10. Seminars will be held in the Gateway Instruction Lab, 104 Pattee Library, near the main circulation area. (more)
