The music and visual artwork of trombonist and artist Dick Griffin were featured on Penn State's University Park campus on Thursday, Jan. 29, and Friday, Jan. 30, as a variety of Penn State entities hosted the artist in a master class and concert performance. Through a master class and a concert featuring his music, he presented a taste of his varied art forms as well as some insight into his life's path, beginning with his upbringing along the Gulf Coast and in the segregated south in the pre-Civil Rights era, through to the present.
