Eligible students who wish to live on campus for 2012-13 must submit a Housing Contract Request through the eLiving Housing Contract System (www.eliving.psu.edu). Faculty members should remind their advisees--especially those planning a change of campus--that the eLiving Contract Request process takes place between noon on Nov. 14, 2011, and noon on Jan. 19, 2012. Penn State Housing is evaluating the possibility of allowing students who live on campus to select their own room assignments. eLiving, the University's housing management software, could allow students to view available rooms and pick their own room assignments in a predetermined order. Changes in the process would be applicable to all campuses that offer housing. Because of the large impact this could have on students living on campus, Housing is seeking feedback and input from students. (more)

The University Park Assignment Office for Campus Residences, currently located in 101 Shields Building, is moving to 201 Johnston Commons on Nov. 5. The Central Residence Life Office, currently located in 135 Boucke Building, also will move its office to 201 Johnston Commons. Bringing the offices together will make their services more accessible as they support students in each of their respective areas. The office's phone numbers will stay the same. (more)
