Lewis Katz Building dedicated
Friday, April 24, 2009Penn State's Dickinson School of Law celebrated the opening of its new 114,000-square-foot Lewis Katz Building with a dedication ceremony Friday afternoon (April 24). The event also marks the start of a yearlong celebration honoring the 175th anniversary of the Dickinson School of Law, which held its first class on April 1, 1834. Participants in the ceremony included Penn State University President Graham B. Spanier; Philip J. McConnaughay, dean of The Dickinson School of Law; Lewis Katz, the Dickinson School of Law class of 1966; H. Laddie Montague Jr., the Dickinson School of Law class of 1963; James Broadhurst, chair of Penn State's Board of Trustees; and Richard M. Olcott, design partner, Polshek Partnership Architects.
