Registration is open for the sixth annual Jeremy Herbstritt 5K Run/Walk, an event honoring the Penn State engineering alumnus who died at the Virginia Tech shootings in 2007. The Vehicle Systems and Safety (VS&S) Program, a major research wing of The Thomas D. Larson Pennsylvania Transportation Institute at Penn State, has received laboratory accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
