Penn State to seed energy crop from the air
Thursday, September 18, 2008Glen Cauffman wants to get the word out about Penn State's aerial seeding of bioenergy crops on 300 acres near campus for two reasons. First, he doesn't want State College-area residents to be concerned about a small plane repeatedly swooping low over fields near town. But more importantly, he wants the public to know that the University is serious about helping the country to solve its energy crisis. (more)
