The discussion featuring Penn State football coach Joe Paterno and Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and several of their former student-athletes is set to air on Thursday, June 30 on ESPN and ESNPU. "Difference Makers: Life Lessons with Paterno and Krzyzewski," was taped June 20 in front of an enthusiastic audience of 900 in Penn State's Eisenhower Auditorium. The program will air at 8 p.m. Thursday on ESPN and continue at 9 p.m. on ESPNU. (more)

A unique event -- the taping of an ESPN special featuring Penn State football coach Joe Paterno and Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski -- will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 20, before a live, invitation-only audience in Eisenhower Auditorium on Penn State's University Park campus. Ten days after the taping, an hourlong show titled "Difference Makers: Life Lessons with Paterno and Krzyzewski" will appear at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30, on ESPN. Two of the biggest champions of University Libraries are Joe and Sue Paterno. Since the 1980s, they have led by example by investing their own money in Penn State's libraries and encouraging noteworthy contributions from others. STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Joe and Sue Paterno announced a $1 million pledge before more than 200 guests who gathered recently at Mount Nittany Medical Center to watch the final steel beam hoisted atop the medical center's new east wing. Their gift is part of the most ambitious fundraising effort in the Medical Center's history. (more)
