Firefighters battled a controlled blaze on the tarmac at Penn State's University Park Airport on May 23 during a full-scale emergency exercise. The exercise was designed to provide real-time training and recertification for emergency response personnel from around the Centre Region.

Lockheed Martin will be making technology presentations at the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn State's University Park campus from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, in the auditorium. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to come and learn about the research and technology interests of Lockheed Martin across the broad spectrum of business sectors that the company Impacts. Presentations will be made by the four primary business units of Lockheed Martin, and will provide an opportunity for students to learn more about the company. (more)
