Penn State marks Sept. 11 anniversary at football game

The Penn State Blue Band performed a patriotic halftime show to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and the plane crash in Shanksville, Pa. They started the show by forming an eagle and leading the crowd in the singing of "God Bless America," and then formed "NYC," a Pentagon and a keystone, the symbol of Pennsylvania, to pay tribute to the three sites of the terrorist attacks. They began their final number, "Columbia, the Gem of the Ocean," with a "USA" formation, and ended it with this display of red, white and blue.
