New campus athletics website goes live

Friday, January 13, 2012

The all-new Penn State DuBois Intercollegiate Athletics website, at http://www.psuduboisathletics.com, is now live. This new home on the Web for all campus athletic programs provides the latest game results, schedules, rosters, player information, photos and more.

"The new athletic site will enable us to reach out to more students and keep our campus, community, and family members better connected with the intercollegiate athletic teams on campus," said Athletic Coordinator Ken Nellis.

The website has been built with the help of Presto Sports, a Web-based company dedicated providing design and maintenance support for the websites of athletic programs across the country. Through the campus' partnership with Presto Sports, Nellis said the Web presence of campus athletic programs will continue to grow and evolve in the future.

"We will have capabilities to post game video, and offer social media outlets to friends and fans of Penn State DuBois athletic programs," Nellis said. "Getting the site launched recently is exciting, but there is much more that we can do."

With the growth of the website in this electronic age, Nellis said, will also come the continued growth of campus athletics. "Information and access are keys to growing our campus and sports programs," he said. "We are hoping that a more dynamic site helps us bring more interest and more student athletes to Penn State DuBois."
