Student football ticket sale for Alabama game to be held Monday

The student football ticket sale for the Alabama game will be held this Monday, Aug. 30. Student away football ticket sales for the remaining four Big Ten away games will be held the Monday prior to each respective game.

On the day of each away game ticket sale, including Monday's Alabama sale, students may arrive at Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center at 6 a.m. Each away game sale will be held at 7 a.m. Each student is permitted to purchase one student ticket per game and must have their Penn State id+ Card to do so.

Student tickets purchased may be made with cash only. Student tickets will be sold on a first come/first served basis based on ticket availability.

Should demand dictate it, tickets will be sold through a wristband lottery. If the number of students in line by 7 a.m. exceeds the number of student tickets allocated for that respective game, a wristband lottery will be held. Students not in line by the time of the sale, 7 a.m., will not be included in the wristband lottery, should one be held.

If a wristband lottery is needed, all students in line at 7 a.m. will be given a numbered wristband. Ticketing services will randomly pick one of those numbers. The student with that number will be the first student eligible to purchase an away game ticket. The remainder of tickets will be sold to students having the consecutive numbers after the initial number drawn. If the end of the line is reached, the next eligible number will be the student with the first wrist band handed out followed by the students having the consecutive numbers after that until all available tickets are sold.

Ticket prices for all away games are dictated by the host school or away venue. A complete list of prices for each game as well as on-sale dates are listed below.

Alabama and Ohio State tickets will be distributed at the Penn State "Will Call" window at the site of the game on the day of the game. Students must have their Penn State id+ Card to pick up their ticket. Tickets for the Iowa, Minnesota, and Indiana games will be distributed at the time of the sale.
