African wildlife preservationist strikes up a 'Conversation' on BTN

Experts blame existing environmental imbalances in Africa on past efforts of isolated habitat preservation. An alternative is community-based conservation, which requires the assistance of a region’s indigenous population. Jeannie Magill is the originator and co-producer of "Milking the Rhino," a documentary that advocates maintaining biodiversity through community-based conservation. Magill talks about this topic on the next episode of “Conversations from Penn State," which will air on the Big Ten Network at 3 a.m. and noon on Monday, July 5.
