Penn Stater magazine seeking stories about becoming a Penn Stater

Once a Penn Stater, always a Penn Stater. But how did alumni start down the path to attending Penn State? Editors of The Penn Stater magazine want to hear alums’ stories about how they initially decided on Penn State for college. Stories might be about a family legacy of blue-and-white alumni, an influential guidance counselor, attending a football game and never wanting to leave -- whatever stands out vividly years after beginning college on a Penn State campus.

Stories (no more than 300 words) should be e-mailed to pennstater@psu.edu, faxed to 814-863-5690 or mailed to The Penn Stater magazine, Hintz Family Alumni Center, University Park, PA 16802.

The best tales will be included in an upcoming issue of The Penn Stater magazine. Submissions are due by Feb. 10, and may be edited for length and clarity.
