The School of Engineering at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, hosted its fourth annual engineering job fair on Thursday, March 19, in the college's Research and Economic Development Center (REDC). More than 200 Penn State Behrend engineering students and 44 local and national employers attended.
Participating employers ranged from local companies, such as GE, LORD Corporation and Port Erie Plastics, to the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Northrop Grumman, Sandia National Labs, and Dresser-Rand.
Those Penn State Behrend engineering students interested in full-time, part-time, summer co-op, and internship opportunities were encouraged to attend.
The School of Engineering at Penn State Behrend offers three associate degree programs -- electrical engineering technology (EET), mechanical engineering technology (MET) and plastics engineering technology (PLET) -- and seven bachelor’s degree programs -- computer engineering, electrical engineering, EET, mechanical engineering, MET, PLET, and software engineering. Each program is accredited by either the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) or the Technology Accreditation Commission (TAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
