University Park, Pa. — Dickinson School of Law faculty and staff at University Park reported for work in a brand new place, the Lewis Katz Building, for the first time on Monday, Dec. 22. This transition marks another stage of the Dickinson School of Law's move from Beam Building near North Halls to the new facility on the corner of Bigler Road and Services Road. Students will make themselves at home beginning Jan. 5, 2009, with classes starting on Jan. 9. A formal opening ceremony will take place in April 2009.

Highlights of the building include its LEED Certification, extensive library facility, video conferencing capability, and integration of traditional legal learning with cutting-edge telecommunications frequently found in many legal institutions of the 21st century.
