University Park, Pa. -- Citizens throughout Central Pennsylvania and fans attending Saturday's Penn State-Michigan game are being advised that a military flyover will take place during pregame ceremonies.

Two U.S. Navy F-18C Hornets will fly over Beaver Stadium immediately following the National Anthem, at approximately 4:21 p.m. The planes, based at the Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Va. will be flying from the south as they approach the stadium.

The planes are being flown by Lt. Rob Littman, a 2001 Penn State NAVY ROTC graduate, and Lt. Chris Dentzer. Their handler on the ground will be Lt. E.P. Hadler.

The two F-18 Hornets will be available for public review from 10 to 11a.m. Sunday at the University Park Airport's General Aviation Terminal and will take off immediately after the viewing. Members of Penn State's Tri-Service ROTC program will be in attendance as well.

The No. 3 Nittany Lions and Wolverines will square off at 4:30 p.m. for Penn State's 89th Homecoming game. The contest will air on ESPN, the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com online.
