University Park, Pa. -- As students, staff and faculty filed through the HUB-Robeson Center Tuesday (Oct. 14), they became part of a new Homecoming tradition celebrating the Penn State of today and days gone by. The Past to Present celebration brought together members of the 2008 Homecoming court, Penn State cheerleaders, performing groups and students earning spirit points for their organizations. In a colorful display of Penn State's school colors -- from the original pink and black to today's blue and white -- the event asked students to post their favorite Homecoming memories near to a display of historical photographs and encouraged students to submit their votes for Homecoming king and queen.
