Vigil to be held Tuesday night for Chinese earthquake victims

The Chinese Friendship Association (CFA) at Penn State's University Park campus has scheduled a vigil for victims of Monday's earthquake in central China at 8 p.m. Tuesday (May 13) in front of Old Main.  Candles will be provided and donations will be accepted on site and sent directly to agencies aiding victims of the earthquake. All members of the Penn State community are welcomed to attend. Attendees are also encouraged to bring cards and note cards with words of prayer and support for the victims. In a Web site posting, the CFA also offers links to agencies accepting donations for the earthquake victims here.
