University Park, Pa. -- Rock band Nickelback will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at the Bryce Jordan Center, University Park. The opening acts will be Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace.
Nickelback's latest CD, "All the Right Reasons," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Magazine's Top 200 Albums Chart the week it was released. After 55 weeks on the Top 200 Albums Chart, the album is still in the Top 20, selling close to 60,000 units a week. The CD produced five No. 1 singles off and each of the songs that had a video went to No.1 on Vh1's "Top 20 Video Countdown."
On Nov. 21, the band will be attending and presenting an award at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, seizing three nominations. The categories the band is nominated in include: Album of the Year for "All The Right Reasons," Best Band or Duo and Alternative Artist of the Year. Nickelback is singer/guitarist Chad Kroeger, bassist Mike Kroeger, guitarist Ryan Peake and drummer Daniel Adair.
Tickets are $45.50 for the public and $39.50 for Penn State students (one per ID) for reserved seating and general admission floor access.
