Nickelback to rock the Jordan Center on March 4

University Park, Pa. -- Rock band Nickelback will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at the Bryce Jordan Center, University Park. The opening acts will be Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace.

Nickelback's latest CD, "All the Right Reasons," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Magazine's Top 200 Albums Chart the week it was released. After 55 weeks on the Top 200 Albums Chart, the album is still in the Top 20, selling close to 60,000 units a week. The CD produced five No. 1 singles off and each of the songs that had a video went to No.1 on Vh1's "Top 20 Video Countdown."

On Nov. 21, the band will be attending and presenting an award at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, seizing three nominations. The categories the band is nominated in include: Album of the Year for "All The Right Reasons," Best Band or Duo and Alternative Artist of the Year. Nickelback is singer/guitarist Chad Kroeger, bassist Mike Kroeger, guitarist Ryan Peake and drummer Daniel Adair.

Tickets are $45.50 for the public and $39.50 for Penn State students (one per ID) for reserved seating and general admission floor access. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, Nov. 10, at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Tickets Downtown, the Altoona Campus ticket outlet, all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at (814) 865-5555 or (800) 863-3336 or at http://www.bjc.psu.edu online.

A Penn State student presale will be held at noon Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center, Penn State Tickets Downtown, HUB Robeson Center and Eisenhower Auditorium.
