University Park, Pa. -- ESPN's popular College GameDay Built by the Home Depot program, with host Chris Fowler and analysts Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, will originate from Penn State this Saturday (Oct. 8) for the No. 16 Nittany Lions' battle with No. 6 Ohio State in Beaver Stadium.
The program airs Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon ET. The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes will kick-off in Beaver Stadium at 7:45 p.m. ESPN will televise the game to a national audience, with Ron Franklin, Bob Davie and Holly Rowe calling the action.
This year marks the 12th consecutive season College GameDay is originating from the site of the day's best game. College GameDay airs every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon and Fowler, Corso and Herbstreit are all in their 10th season together on College GameDay. Saturday's broadcast marks the second time the show has originated from Penn State, with the first being for Penn State's season opener vs. Arizona in 1999.
In addition, ESPN2's weekday morning show Cold Pizza will originate live from Penn State on Friday, Oct. 7 from 8 to 10 a.m., ET, with co-host Jay Crawford and veteran sports columnists Woody Paige and Skip Bayless, who will offer passionate opinion and debate of topics for "1st and 10" segments live at the ESPN College GameDay Built by the Home Depot set.
The public is invited to watch the live broadcasts of both events.
