University Park, Pa. -- In an effort to better prepare the University to meet the challenges of health sciences in the decades to come, Penn State President Graham B. Spanier recently named the Health Sciences 2020 Team to evaluate the University's health sciences portfolio across all three missions of research, education and service. The 14-member team, led by Darrell G. Kirch, in his role as senior vice president for health affairs, includes:

-- Raymond T. Coward (team co-leader), Raymond E. and Erin Stuart Schultz professor and dean, College of Health and Human Development;
-- Dwight Davis, associate dean for Student Affairs and Admissions, and professor, Department of Medicine, College of Medicine;
-- Davie Jane Gilmour, president, Pennsylvania College of Technology;
