Ian Rosenberger once again helped his tribe win immunity and avoid tribal counsel.
Penn Stater Ian Rosenberger had one setback but did well overall in the second episode of CBS' "Survivor: Palau." Rosenberger fell twice during the reward challenge. The rest of his Koror tribe fared equally poorly and the rival Ulong tribe won the reward of fishing gear. Things looked better for Rosenberger during the rest of the show, as he continued to prove his worth to the tribe. In the first episode, Koror lost its chest of fire-making supplies when it fell out of their boat. In the second episode, the tribe located the trunk 25 feet below the surface of the ocean. Rosenberger swam down and attached the boat's anchor rope to the chest, enabling the team to recover it and make fire for the first time. Rosenberger also was instrumental in helping his tribe pull ahead and win the immunity challenge, guaranteeing his survival to the next episode, set to air at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 3, on CBS. Roseberger, 23, a native of Ambridge, majored in agricultural extension and educational leadership at Penn State, and served as student government president.
