When the new season of "Survivor" gets under way at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, on CBS, don't forget to look for Penn State alumnus Ian Rosenberger. In the University Park region, "Survivor" airs on CBS' local affiliate, channel 10 in Altoona. Rosenberger, a former Penn State student government president, will be among the 20 contestants looking to outwit, outplay and outlast their competitors on the reality-TV show. This season's episodes are set on Palau, a remote South Pacific island. Roseberger, 23, a native of Ambridge, majored in agricultural extension and educational leadership. He also served as the University’s homecoming king, participated in Penn State Thespians and the Essence of Joy choir, THON and served as a teacher's assistant. He currently works as a dolphin trainer and dolphin-assisted therapist for children with disabilities in Key Largo, Fla.
