The Cellar Market, a student/outreach project of the Department of Horticulture, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays in its location next to Eisenhower Auditorium. All sales proceeds from the vegetables, flowers, fruits and plants are used by the department. The fresh produce is grown on Penn State's horticultural farm.

The roof of the Cellar Market was recently transformed into a living roof. It's been planted with a variety of succulent plants that will aid in heating/cooling and water runoff. One of the plantings has been arranged to spell out "PSU."
