Lady Lion Cager Club members Linda Haft, left, and Debbie Diercks handed out pink Penn State Lady Lion basketball shirts to the first 100 students in attendance at the game on Sunday afternoon. The shirts also were on sale elsewhere in the Bryce Jordan Center for $10, with $3 from each sale going to benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, this year's beneficiaries of the Pink Zone fundraising efforts.

The Penn State cheerleaders were decked out in pink for today's Lady Lions basketball game vs. Illinois at the Bryce Jordan Center. The game was the fourth annual WBCA Pink Zone game, and fans, the pep band, dance team and even the players were wearing pink for the occasion. The Lady Lions won the game, 70-66.

The game, the fourth annual WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State, had a record 285 registered breast cancer survivors at the game. The preliminary fundraising total is $66,446.24 for the four Pink Zone charities, Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
