A semi-log plot of real time variation of resistance change before and after cleaning the contaminant (i.e. motor oil) with UV exposure. Note after contamination by motor oil, at approximately time equal to 10,000 s the sensor shows virtually no response to hydrogen. The plot shows that the sensor regains the original hydrogen sensitivity with nearly three-order variation in resistance upon cleaning of contaminant.
